Trough Books, We Build Our Nation

I’m quite sure that most of us have books, but what is the function of them ?. the books are regarded as the way of  our daily lives. Trough books, we can live well and trough books too we can build our nation. May be some of you will ask me how ?. We are next generation, of course by our strong our hands and our intelligence, we as next generation will be able to build our nation, like what our first President said that He entrusted the nation to us, so we should carry out it.

The books are like base building in order to be strong and to be able to stand tightly we should prepare everything well so that we can be sure what we build satisfied us. Like the books, if we really want to develop our nation we shouldn’t be lazy, we must read book diligently. Insya Allah we will get advantages from what we are learning and reading.

By reading either old or new books, we can apply the use of them in our daily lives. But the problem is we are something lazy to read books, we prefer playing to reading, so if you are like this, what can you give for our nation ? NOTHING !!. It is true, isn’t it ?.

I’ll tell you once more by reading books we not only can build our nation but also we can do anything for our nation, not just only thinking of our love, love, and love, don’t you remember the John F Kennedy’s the president of USA motto ? it says that “Don’t ask what your nation can give you, but ask you your self what can give for your nation”.

PALMISTRY IN ISLAM

I’m think most of us have read palmistry in magazine or newspaper but how the role of Islam about that? Because we are Moslem so we must know of our tawheed. Palmistry in magazine sometimes by astrology like that Aquarius, Sagitarius, Cancer, Libra and etc. we must know the all of them in the Islamic Shari’ah.

As far as the Islamic Shari`ah is concerned, it is forbidden for us to consult a so-called fortune-teller or astrologer. As Muslims, we believe that no one but Almighty Allah can have knowledge of the unseen. Full and accurate knowledge of the future is possessed only by Allah, All-Knowing, Who said in the Qur’an, (No soul knows what it will earn on the morrow) (Luqman 31:34).

In response to your question, Sheikh Ahmad Kutty, senior lecturer and Islamic scholar at the Islamic Institute of Toronto, Canada, stated, Palmistry is not a science; it is simply based on guesswork and speculation about the future without any scientific basis. Islam is opposed to it, just as it is opposed to all forms of superstitions and irrational practices.

There are so many ills associated with palmistry: It breeds laziness and sloth and encourages charlatans to exploit the gullible and credulous people. One of the prayers of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) was the following: “O Allah, I seek refuge in You from helplessness, laziness, cowardice, and miserliness.”

Because palmistry entails speaking of Al-Ghayb (things exclusively known by Allah) based on mere guesswork, it is contrary to tawheed (belief in the Oneness of Allah), which is the cornerstone of Islam. Therefore, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) warned the faithful against indulging in such practices. He said, “Whoever visits a foreteller [which includes palmists, tarot readers, etc.] and believes in his [or her] words has denied what was revealed to Muhammad [i.e. the Qur’an].”

He also said, “Whoever goes to a fortune-teller and asks him [or her] about something and then believes in his [or her] words will have his [or her] Prayer rejected for 40 days.” May Allah help us safeguard our faith against the actions that undermine or diminish it in any way. Amen.

Our prayer like that from Subuh until Isya prayer for 40 days. There are rejected by Allah. Why, because we go to fortune-teller and ask about something and then believes about it. So, now we must don’t believe about palmistry with fortune teller or astrology in magazine or newspaper because it breeds laziness and sloth and encourages charlatans to exploit the gullible and credulous people beside it is forbidden for us as Moslem. We must try and try to don’t belive about palmistry. Ok…?. Don’t believe about it.
